If employees feel that management respects their right to develop, grow and use their own initiative, then in return employees will respect the organization's right to evolve. These words were written in 1960, by Chris Argyris. Fifty years later, organizations and employees are still struggling with this assignment. They will keep on struggling. It is my mission to help people and organizations to make this struggle constructive and fun. If both parties are able to negotiate and renegotiate their mutual psychological contract, the world of work will grow healthy and profitable for all stakeholders. I am practicing my mission by combining consultancy at Factor Vijf with research at the University of Leiden.
